The Asia Minor Research Center presents the latest excavation report on the 2025 campaign in Doliche. Between July and September, the international team investigated the archive building and the monumental temple in the Roman city center, as well as previously unexplored areas of the late antique settlement structure.
A highlight of the season was the discovery of more than 15,000 additional sealings from the Roman city archive—an important contribution to understanding urban administration in antiquity. The work on the temple’s architecture and use of the building was successfully completed. Complementary investigations west of the sanctuary and at the early Christian basilica also illustrate Doliche’s ongoing development across several historical periods.
The full 2025 excavation report is now available on the Doliche Project website.
