In July 2026, an article on the archive of Doliche was published in the
journal Antike Welt (issue 4/2026). In this contribution, Michael Blömer and
Torben Schreiber present the current state of research on the archive. Over
the past several years, a total of 22,000 seal impressions have been
discovered there. The study of the archive and its seal impressions, with
their rich and varied imagery, provides important insights into many aspects
of urban life during the Roman Imperial period, ranging from municipal
administration to religious beliefs.
