On the basis of a detailed investigation of object change in this West Asian locality, the book\u2019s main aim is to engage with broader questions about the impact of increased Afro-Eurasian connectivity during the 4th c. BCE \u2013 1st c. CE. Drawing on globalization theory and the concept of \u203aobjectscapes\u2039, it develops a methodological alternative to the persistent yet reductive notion of \u203aHellenism in the East\u2039.
